The 28-year-old British singer and former One Direction star Harry Styles has broken records with his hit single “As It Was”. Since its release on April 1, the song has spent 14 weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100 and ten weeks as number one in the United Kingdom.

The music video, which was released with the song, currently has 330 million views. It shows the singer dancing and smiling in a red jumpsuit to the upbeat song known for its heartfelt and personal lyrics.

On May 20, Styles released his third album, Harry’s House, which consists of 13 songs including “As It Was”.  Two additional songs from the album, “Late Night Talking” and “Music for a Sushi Restaurant”, have made the Hot 100 as well, currently standing at number 13 and 72 on the chart, respectively.

At the same time, Styles is currently number one in the US cinema box office chart with his film Don’t Worry Darling, making him one of the few artists–alongside Eminem and Prince–to have topped music and box office charts simultaneously.

As of October 3, Steve Lacy’s “Bad Habit” has ended Styles’ number one run, causing “As It Was” to fall to second place on the Billboard Hot 100.

Styles is currently on his United States residency tour, Love On Tour. He recently completed fifteen nights at Madison Square Garden in New York and 6 nights at The Moody Center in Austin, Texas with fully sold out performances. He is set to perform another 6 nights at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois this week.
