Ahead of Election Day, Kaleidoscope conducted anonymous polling of the Ward Melville student body to see how students would vote if they were eligible. We received 315 responses from students, and the results are summarized below. Ward Melville has approximately 1500 students, so over 20% of all students responded to this poll.
Of those who responded, 88 (27.9%) were sophomores, 134 (42.5%) were juniors and 93 (29.5%) were seniors. 24.1% of respondents said they were “very informed” about politics, 55.9% said they were “somewhat informed,” 16.8% said they were “not very informed” and 3.2% said they were “not informed at all.”
*Not all percentages will total to 100% due to rounding.
