Her attendance at both games has proven to boost Kelce’s merchandise sales and viewership numbers. The prices of resale tickets for The Jets vs. The Chiefs game skyrocketed 175% after Swift’s appearance (CBS News). There has also been an astonishing 400% surge in sales of Kelce’s jersey following the game (ESPN).
These sightings at the games come after weeks of rampant speculation by numerous celebrity news outlets, fueling rumors of a budding romance between the two. The speculations began when Kelce announced on his and his brother’s podcast, “New Heights,” his intention to attend Taylor Swift’s show at Arrowhead Stadium on July 8, 2023, and craft a friendship bracelet with his jersey number on it.
After a game at Arrowhead Stadium, the two were spotted leaving in their “getaway car” together and were rumored to have been together at the Chiefs’ after-party in Kansas City.
